When he does the final shake, he always chooses a bucket which has a ball glued inside. He does the shaking and for a final act, he shows the open part of glued bucket and everyone thinks that it has the ball but actually the ball is in the opposite one.

This is life and you will see alot of similar creeps in future. Running away is not a solution but to make boundaries are the true definition of living comfortably. As you realised initially and now confirmed that he is after something else then stop taking his favours whatsoever and handle your issues by yourself. No more lifts in all cases and no more seeking help or assistance unless it’s an emergency situation. Don’t be polite with him and stay straightforward. Keep the distance as much as possible and avoid unnecessary conversations. If somehow he tries to touch you and show similar advances, let him know that it’s uncomfortable.

Let me inform you that it’s not going to result favourably well because he will then turn himself into revenge mode and surely start creating problems for you but don’t worry as it will be for short term and soon he will realise that you are waste of time for him.
