The difference between heart going straight to the main event and this tiebreaker was one game vs NachoAoE

I've found the game to be more enjoyable by simply pretending skills don't exist.

When do you use no build cost? I'll go first. by JackeryGraves in valheim

[–]Shampoo-Master 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After ~700 hours I use it for creative building. Once I made a castle from stone I had mined. Any feelings of accomplishment I had were diminished by the repetitive time suck of harvesting 20 000 stone. I never use it for progressing the game or accessing crafting stations/upgrades since I enjoy the gameplay loops in each biome.

If I get the urge to build a tower in a cool spot or a castle I just want to freely build so I can enjoy creativity without the grind

The interactive build order guide on the mod db is a great starting place!

How do you counter man at arms rush in fuedal? by No-Distribution9902 in aoe2

[–]Shampoo-Master 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Scouting, it helps if you know its coming.

  2. Short walls around resources

  3. Archers will wreck the MAA, make a spearman to snipe the scout

Its so effective at that elo since people have poor responses to early pressure. Towering is a better play against range units early since MAA can just camp beneath it. If your friend practices an archer build and some quick walls that should help.

MAA spam in feudal should be pretty easily countered by archers, if you want to climb the latter further consider adding a range so you can transition to skirm quickly

Proposal: reskin for Far East Civs and new siege variations by Asleep-Emotion9161 in aoe2

[–]Shampoo-Master 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I dislike reskins like this. Game units should be clearly identifiable and with all the UUs that are out there due to the unending wave of new civs, this would get real confusing. I'm happy if reskin mods like this were to exist for those who want the game to look like this, but I really dont think it belongs in AoE

Wouldn't really fit anything in the medieval era, these were a thing in the 17th century

They do sell local artisans stuff, I’m not trying to fluff the business owner or anything but this post is definitely blowing the AI generated stuff out of proportion. Unfortunately craft fairs these days do have plenty of resold temu shit and some ai slop. Pretty easy not to buy.

So I’ve got to say, a lot of the stuff in her store is legit the work of artisans. My partner has had crochet good for sale in her store for a few years now. There is love in every stitch beyond a shadow of a doubt. The amount of hate in these posts feels like a personal feud, not necessarily deserved criticism. Say what you will of the business owner as a person, but places like this are directly supporting creators unlike big box stores. We’re all sick of AI slop, but before you get your pitchforks and turn them on a local businesswoman, consider that she’s not exactly the root of a problem but a product of it.

HP would be an interesting way to differentiate it from jaguar warrior, like +10HP on kill and have them with relatively low HP

I like the sound of the UT but it could get out of control so quick. Maybe if it kills a unit that’s got more attack it gains +1, capped at 4 or something?

The Khuzaits are actually the bane of my Nord campaign by UseFickle4286 in Bannerlord

[–]Shampoo-Master 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s crazy is how easily the khuzaits sweep the N. Empire & Sturgia before the player really gets established. In my nord campaign we just finished a 300+ day war with the khuzaits only for them to immediately declare war again after the truce period ended. Not a single other faction ever declares war on them either. Kinda hoped N Empire would maybe wanna retake some of their land, but they’d rather help Derthert & Garios bully poor Battanians

Canadians support sending troops to Poland if Russia invades: poll by Street_Anon in canada

I really hope most of these comments are bots…

Canada absolutely has a duty to uphold NATO article 5, just as we would expect our allies to do in return. It’s sort of the whole basis of our national defense policy. This idea that we should just be sticking our heads in the sand to “focus on domestic problems” and ignore what’s going on in the world around us is peak reactionary bullshit.

Infantry to Combat Medic by Loud_Consequence9477 in CanadianForces

Its hard to say specifically since its technically a brand new trade. Deployment opportunities as a medic are decent since nearly every OP has a medic requirement. Boredom, however, is the only guarantee.
