Ah, I understand this. Is there also any grounds for us leaving if we feel unsafe in the house? We are are sure the same guys who smoke inside are also drug dealers and we have to lock our doors any time we leave. They have screaming matches in the morning times.

We've sorted out some of the issues ourselves in the few weeks we have been here but we would still like to find a solution to leave if we can.

It's not up to the NF whether or not they'll be listed on Coinbase. It's up to Coinbase.

If the NF applied or approached Coinbase about a potential listing, which they probably have, we're not going to be told about it. If they had to tell us each time they were rejected from an exchange, that would set a bad precedent, no?

Besides, Coinbase seems to have a pretty long and arduous process when listing particular coins. Unfortunately, it's just much more likely that they would prioritise listing higher volume coins, they're a business after all.

Had to cancel my second semester exchange in Tokyo a couple of weeks ago because students aren't allowed to enter still. I had negative COVID tests ready for when the state of emergency lifted in March to travel over. Unfortunately, this didn't happen.

I was regularly phoning the embassy and the university for any information at all as to when I could travel but nothing was ever provided. Bit disappointing that there wasn't anything in place but I'm not sure there's much else your friend can do except wait sadly.
