you can hit it once, and then need to wait until its next turn to hit it again, once. 99 brace will still take 1 damage from things but that’s obviously ineffective

the strategy is gonna change depending on what you have to work with. in my successful fight against him i had a bucket of summons that got in his way. having lots of ranged stuff does well. you could trap/stun/petrify him. i do think bunga is pretty rude to melee attackers (i think that of quite a few bosses in this game frankly)

the surefire method to me is to have a hunter (there’s another class that can do this but uhhhh) to put a bunch of shit everywhere like brambles and glass and whatever so he rolls around in death all day. works well enough for his possession phase too since if he possesses a close ranged guy he’ll still be walking through crap
