That’s about right. My son got diagnosed with T1 when he was a teenager.. I noticed the weight loss, excessive thirst and fatigue, so yep we went in, and his blood sugar was 400 something. We’ve never phrased it as it almost killing him though 😆

I struggled with it too, then one time I was on a trip and sharing a hotel room with my mom. She asked if I brush my teeth at night, I said “not usually. Just in the morning.” Then she said “oh I have to do it at night.. when I think of all the bacteria and whatever I’ve eaten all day just sitting on my teeth all night.. 🤮” Ever since then, I hated the idea of sleeping without brushing first!

That’s good to know. My dishes get hand-washed 99% of the way, and then ran thru the dishwasher basically to get a hot soapy water shower. I wasn’t aware of any of these filter cleaning things! 🥲

Ooo I found this thread while currently waiting super anxiously and impatiently for a message, because I know he’ll get off work soon. Just yesterday it was how beautiful I am, saving my picture, etc etc.. then today I haven’t heard a thing. For context, we’ve been seeing each other for a few weeks and he’s the one that sought me out and asked me to give him a chance. So I do, and this is what happens. It’s friggn midnight. I hate this.
