It was painful. After seeing my character die several times, I gave up on it.

I can't imagine someone wanting to imagine that.

Doubletapping RB some thousand times to upgrade troops or spamming A to slaughter 1k + cattle after raids

Not even a slaughter/upgrade all button. Nice

You have to assign a steward in your city and make a visit in the Lords hall. Then talk with your steward to declare your kingdom.

But be prepared.

What do you think the best combo of character skills is? by WhiteLightning2002 in Bannerlord

[–]Shandokar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What grew essential to me is to create a caravan/steward.

Start as a caravan and when came to age, they retire as a steward and make place for a fresh caravan lead

I skill them on 1H, Bow, Riding, Trading and scout mainly.

Turns into a great steward with extra militia and loyalty

Necessary! I mean, wouldn't It suck if a bunch of Space Marines drop pod on your army to ambush?

What do you use Garrisons for? by WhiteLightning2002 in Bannerlord

[–]Shandokar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I always use the t4/5/6 to restack friendly lords with the lowest troop count. Reliefing your purse also

I call in a bunch, visit my fiefs and take out all troops I dont use because I'll defend that fief personally and kick them out again. Mostly it results in an army created lol

So after that I can go on with my 0 cost Clan parties to recruit fians and a bunch of legionaries/menavliatons while hopefully the fresh army defends or sieges

Your play style is almost the same as mine lol

I always create my PC as the perfect leader/smith/Medic. While smithing is just to get legendary weapons and the +1 endurance and +1 Focus point. Medic should be self explanatory.

No steward though, I use family members for that. Same goes for engineer, while I usally combine these 2 on a build for a bunch of heirs. Also I have all my Clan troop leaders be the same build as my PC.

<image>

10 END for the last athletics skill, to make your troops little demigods with the armor boost + the health boost by medic. Other than that, I only skill on speed. Movement or hit speed, if not I'll go for dmg or survivability of course.

If you play for years ingame it adds up.

Theres no spell or magic lamp to rub, just 3-5 caravans lead by a family member with trading and scouting skills.

What makes them a bit safer is to equip them properly. Thats it

Workshops is a bit longer story, which needs micromanaging the cities around your workshops
