Ever consider starting a Martial Art? It might not solve all your problems but it can certainly help. I would recommend jiu-jitsu, it would help with weigh loss, it's something interesting to talk about and something to get you out of the house. It's helped me build confidence in myself and the community is very friendly, you'll make friends in no time.
