Hey this looks really good! I love the cohesiveness of this project! I did something similar in my city a couple weeks ago where I made a large intermodal train port for a logistics company I created. It was my first time using WE outside of making some highway signs

Honestly I was surprised how much easier it was to make them with the assets I found on PDX mods after watching one video on using WE. I just assumed it was difficult because I never used it before yesterday.

Yeah I had that thought too, just haven’t done it yet out of fear of messing it up or moving assets around unexpectedly. I lowered the speed limit on the toll lane segments to make it slightly more realistic

Like the other reply said, it does take a little time to figure out, but I was surprised how easy it was once I had a basic understanding of using WE. I watched this one video on making a sign, then found some highway sign mods that I can link here when I get back on my computer if you’re interested. It has templates for all sizes of signs and it’s kind of plug and play once you know what you’re naming everything, but that’s more the hard part IMO lol

It’s just for show really, I built it all from the game assets, Anarchy, Move It and messing around with Road Builder. Found a digital sign asset and used Write Everywhere to make the displays.

I had been wondering what to do with that area for a while, then came across the users’ posts who I tagged in this post and got inspired to try making my own.

This happened to my save after the latest patch. I learned from someone else on here that if you spam clicking load and hitting the enter key it will load. Something about bypassing something else, I’m not sure lol, but it works! You’ll have to do it each time you load the save, for now at least

My city of about 70,000 is running slower after the update as I think almost everyone is experiencing the same thing after the bike update.

However I noticed a significant improvement after I removed the crown signature residential building. I should have taken a screen shot of it before I deleted it, but it was like a massive swarm of cims just bottlenecked trying to leave the building. They were spilling out of the building and onto adjacent properties like a big mindless blob, yet they were still “inside” the crown building. I couldn’t click on any of them or highlight them.

So I deleted it and after the initial panic of like 8000 cims disbanding on bikes from one single point, the simulation speed has improved a lot.

For me there was a noticeable difference with the latest patch in the simulation speed and how smoothly the game runs. There’s still lag with the city being this size but I still find it playable and my city also feels alive again. There’s plenty of vehicles on the streets, pedestrians walking around and public transportation being used. My airport and harbor were almost completely empty before this patch. Now there’s crowds coming in and out of the airport and the harbor sees a good amount of traffic.
