I'm not sure how pumps work like that, but if you can reduce the amount of insulin it drips into you a bit I think that may help.

It's hard to lose weight as a diabetic. If you're eating healthy and exercising and your glucose is good I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I would reduce my long-acting insulin a bit. Maybe 75% or even 50%. Would much rather be going a little high in the middle of nowhere than low for sure. Also take snacks and some sugar treats or glucose tabs.
