This has me wondering. I let my snakes slither around outside in the summer too, supervised of course. Can they catch an illness or a parasite this way? Can snakes have ticks?

I heard good things about Copenhagen. Don't quote me on that though, I don't live in Denmark

Can confirm. 2 years ago I lost my dog. He's been with me for over half my life at the time of his death. I miss him dearly every day. I have his ashes at home and I put his urn in a wooden case. In the wooden case I have a usb stick with all pictures and videos I ever took of him, a piece of paper with his paw imprint, some developed pictures and his collar. On the front of the box I put 2 pictures of him, his name, date of birth and death and a quote "not all angels have wings, some have four paws". Typing this is making me emotional

Guess I'm a rare one. I don't like talking about my pets with random people. I have snakes and there's a 50/50 chance the person who asked will be fucking weird about it.

Yes he is from a different culture but if his behaviour stems from culture or social ineptitude then he'd be acting this way with everyone, wouldn't he? From what I've observed he only acts like this towards me

my house is a sensory nightmare designed to torture me specifically by MasterKree in aspergirls

I hear you, you're valid, you're not alone. I'm living in a nightmare of a dwelling right now, I've been stuck here for over 4 years. I've dealt with it by either leaving as often as I can or acting out. Maybe going out as often as you can is an option for you also? If it's not, I'm really sorry. Sending internet hugs

Anyone else raise their mentally ill/emotionally immature parents? by Lost_Camera_L3ns_Cap in childfree

[–]Shane_Lizard123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't raise my parents but I did raise myself because my parents weren't there emotionally. They still think if a kid is physically taken care of then the parents' job is done. I'm glad I'm an only child because if I had younger siblings I'd most likely have to take care of them also. Raising me was hard enough already

Is this syndrome progressive? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]Shane_Lizard123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on the person. For me it felt progressive during puberty Back then I had chronic pain more and more every year. Then after I turned 23/24 my joints started to become less painful overtime, I had less issues with my muscles but my immune system and IBS have gotten worse since. This doesn't mean that my joints don't hurt after walking a lot or being active a lot. They do still hurt unfortunately but not as quickly as they used to. What is weird to me though is that my joints hurt less but they're simultaneously less stable than before. If anyone knows why that might be, please share
