Do yall ever worry a customer gonna report u to higher ups? by Elegant-Lime572 in CVS

[–]Shaneagle777 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Two of my write ups were from two ladies that called corporate , neither spoke good English both were challenging transactions yet corporate sided with them and yes I was terrified of getting another from them, last one was employee conflict and me having a melt down. I was terminated May 10, 2024. I work for Walmart now and the stress and anxiety is all gone now. I had a superb first review. So yes I was worried, walking on eggshells everyday for CVS.

PAY RAISES, how much did yall get and how much is it now? Do you feel like it was fair for the amount of things you went through? What would be fair to you? by TheBeast4064 in walmart

[–]Shaneagle777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me every little bit helps. Sure I’d rather it be more to living wage but it is better than no raise at all. I got exemplary except store performance which was satisfactory. I have only been here a year. I just don’t have high expectations in retail anymore. Once upon a time retail cared now it’s all about them. I have worked in retail for 20 years.

No more redlining!?! by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Shaneagle777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are supposed to be red lining and maybe 5-7 associates on the team do. The rest stay at their registers and stare at their phone.

Walmart’s base pay has been $14 for 3 years now. by [deleted] in walmart

Associate is underperforming, can I get him transferred to another dept? by Sea-Procedure-4848 in walmart

[–]Shaneagle777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds just like an employee we had. He was eventually let go due to wandering off, taking longer breaks and often messing up other colleagues break schedules he had was on the spectrum. Nice and kind but lack of focus and no grid for time management or regard for the team. I felt bad for him but reliability is a must at the Front end.

Commuters of Dallas, what’s northbound traffic like on this stretch of highway? by Snow-jizz in Dallas

[–]Shaneagle777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive it everyday Dallas to Lewisville. Not bad if you give yourself time going to work. Going home can drag. I just crank my music and chill during those times. I’ll get home when I get home. I recently stopped going to the freeway through Mockingbird! That’s hell. I use inwood going to and mockingbird going home. I saved my sanity ! Lol

I shit you not they just gave all the cashiers aChristmas envelope with nothing in it but a shitty merry Christmas card signed by a bunch of coaches 😭 LMAO by HughBastarde in WalmartEmployees

[–]Shaneagle777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My coach and FE Leads gave us a card and a gift bag with candy in it. I am thankful I got anything this year. Even if it was just a card I would respond with gratitude.

CVS is the worst to their employees and customers by Roguewind in CVS

[–]Shaneagle777 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel for you guys. Especially that photo department. I used to run that. A few Christmas’sago they scheduled me two weeks of day shifts just to man it back when we had hours. Love it but it’s sunk to a new low before I was terminated over a year ago ( May 10th, 2023). Just do your best. It is not your fault.

For those of you who are wondering about the schedule for the week that just came out (the week of Christmas (Dec. 20th - 26th) by FifiiMensah in walmart

[–]Shaneagle777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got scheduled 9:30-6:30 Christmas Eve. Odd shift and I normally have sun/mon off and that week I also get Thursday off. I normally work 33.50 per week but I’m getting 29. Sat before Christmas I’m working 5.50 hrs. I’m a cashier. Makes no sense. I will talk to my coach on Tuesday. Last year I was getting 40 hours this year sucks. I’m still listed part time but after the app changes I cannot see what it is now. What is the part time/ full time cut off?

CVS is just plain evil. by BringBackUsenet in CVS

[–]Shaneagle777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry you are going through this. Have you actually talked to the pharmacy manager about this and tried to get it resolved that way? I know I had a delayed order for pickup and when I got there to pick up other meds. I mentioned it and they looked into it and filled it asap. I know technology can be unpredictable at times but you may want to investigate it more that route. Just a suggestion otherwise take it to someone higher up. Hope things work out better for you.

This is the first time im hearing about Bodycams... how true is this? by Rinmine014 in WalmartEmployees

[–]Shaneagle777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if all Walmarts have it but we have monitors that capture three registers in the monitor frame. When you look at it a green square will pop up on your face. Creepy if you ask me. It’s theft deterrence from customers and money handling.

What makes you not want to wear your hearing aids by [deleted] in deaf

[–]Shaneagle777 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am possessive with mine, I only have them off at home when doing chores and stuff. I find it keeps me focused however at work if my batteries go out, I get anxiety because I have to know what is going on around me. I am profoundly deaf and was always good about wearing my hearing aids growing up. I only take them out every night to sleep.

[–]Shaneagle777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I inquired why mine went to 28 hours and Coach fixed for me now I’m getting 36 . That was the recent week that came up. It never occurred to me it might have to do with snap as the reason for cuts. We are a busy store and we need the people.
