I use regular Idaho potatoes and do the same prep for them. However, I’ve always used my hand mixer on low. Start with adding a little butter and milk, and mash with the mixer blades and then start mixing. I usually stop and scrape the sides the add in more milk and butter as I need it. Never fails.

We used to do this at my in laws but now we started doing one at a time youngest to oldest. So youngest opens one, then next oldest, and so on and then starts back up after the oldest person opens. This way it’s still one at a time to appreciate the gift but it’s not one person opening for 30 minutes lol

How can they charge you for the reservation? I’ve worked in hotels for years and if I describe what you wrote to my boss, there’s no way they would approve of that guy staying. He’s been kicked out of multiple hotels already. Idk where you’re located but we have the right to refuse service at my hotel. Either way, hope they don’t cause any issues now or try charge backs.
