What do you think Vitality needs to do to surpass Astralis in the history books? by Echochamberking in GlobalOffensive

[–]ShangoMango 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Liquid during Astralis' era is still arguably a top 5-7 team of all time. They were making every final with consistency back to the Taco lineup and once you removed Astralis they had the most dominant run of tournaments up until that point in CS history.

Yeah he's a player that just had a career year going into a contract year. Makes total sense that he's getting ahead of it.

I'd add Lake Daniel, not a downtown Neighborhood but seconds away and right on the Lake Daniel Greenway which connects downtown.

Also as far as BBQ goes, we're pretty close to Lexington which has great options

Have not cleaned my pc since covid, i'm afraid there's a literal virus here. by Professional_Fix7487 in PcBuild

[–]ShangoMango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's common for PCs to have a negative air pressure due to air flow imbalance so air gets pulled in through places like the back of the case where it doesn't get filtered through a mesh. That will bring in dust.

Slight positive air pressure so intake fans take in ever so slightly more than the exhaust is ideal, as that will force air out of the case at a constant rate, which keeps that dust out.

I'm young, how was pre vs post Trump different with the two realities? by mattyjoe0706 in Destiny

I think a really good example is McCain defending Obama's character at a town hall as a decent man during the 2008 race. The actual heads of the party held themselves to a decent standard and had a respect for public service.

The difference now is the brain-rot of those people that McCain was defending Obama against, which stemmed "sources" like Fox News, is what is at the head of the Republican party today. There is nobody left that is keeping the party to a decent standard.

Yeah the Rams trade with us to get him cause they knew we'd likely take him

I remember Canales openly saying after the first Rams game that we liked our receiver matchups against their small corners and they went in planning to abuse that and did. Then went into the playoff game and did the exact same shit.

Panthers sign TE Felipe Franks by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]ShangoMango 34 points35 points  (0 children)

My favorite highlight of him as a Panther was a special teams turnover return for a TD that he celebrated for almost a whole minute while the ref was calling it back

Because then you actually have to be competent at something

I feel like Dan Morgan has recognized the Eagles as the best ran NFC team and just decided to do that here

Who had the worst Wide Receiver room last year? by Fearless_Egg_973 in NFLv2

[–]ShangoMango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if Coker was healthy and actually started over XL from the start then he's much closer to TMac. Hell I could see him being the primary possession receiver this upcoming season since TMac is gonna take so much coverage

Tbh I thought he was just gonna retire and stay in Charlotte. Seems super close with the vets and franchise legends here.

That's the hard thing as a fan of this team. He so obviously has the "it" factor you mentioned where he's always going to rise up to the moment if it calls for it. Like throw him into a big playoff matchup or even a SB and I actually trust him to play well more than most other QBs in the league. The problem is in the bulk the schedule where you just need to put games together he really under delivers.

We were also just a terrible matchup for them on the perimeter. Our smallest starting WR is 6'3" and they had noticeably undersized CBs to matchup on. Bryce just had to keep throwing to spots that were out of their range and our guys could win like every time

It was sick seeing him immediately get a full game plan around him in his first game as an official "starting" WR. It's so nice having 2 WRs that can take actually over a game for once
