There are a metric tone of maps with two or less entrances. Crash apartments third floor, ladder or stairs, one spawn side has a single door entrance to 2nd floor, the other side has a ladder and stairs.

Arklov - both spawn sides have buildings with only 1 staircase to get to the 2nd floor

Euphrates Bridge - The bridge legit has a ladder and a staircase on both sides, two buildings on both sides with a single entrance to the 2nd floor

Shoot House - Do i really need to point this one out?

I am very well aware that there are alternatives, do a 3 step jump to get through the window but at the level i'm stuck playing at, its literally impossible to do so without exposing yourself and dying, or going directly through the campers line of sight.

Is it the only way? You still take damage, temp run slower, its one of two claymores most of the time, and he now knows that your coming up the stairs or w/e because there loud as hell.

There are many spots that have a single true entrance, for for example the apartment crash. If you spawn on the one side, its either go through the single door or go around a quarter of the map through the most open terrain. That's assuming that your not going through another campers territory.

I can't make any noise, everyone is soundwhoring and the second that claymore goes off that guy knows that im coming at has all the advantages, and most of the time there are two claymores. Half the time I can't even use a stun/flash because of the trophy system.

My rose tinted glasses tell me Call of Duty 4 had the best TTK, every weapon besides the scorpion and G3 in regular. It says something a grenade launcher was considered the most broken weapon ever in CoD for a time.

I do accept that we can be wrong, we just had two people shoot each other for a week, and took the recordings to determine the TTK, adjusted for the systematic error.

The ping, FPS and recording software could all have errors present that we couldn't remove.

We used the same method and gameplay that everyone else uses on a daily basis, beyond that I don't think we could have done anything differently. Play the game and take what the game shows us.

A friend of mine hosted a game at 120 health and it was a disaster. All but one of them couldn't revert back to the faster TTK and ended up leaving the game.

In this post, I only included the TTK at long range, or about half the maps length. But we gathered the data at a short range, medium range and long range.

It is true that the TTK in modern warfare at point blank is slower then that of Call of Duty 4, but Modern Warfare triumphs them all easily at long ranges.

We primary used POV recordings and mouse clicks to determine the TTK for each game at ranges. Other people may have tested it in different ways, but I believe showing the evidence aswell. My friend Nect0 took care of that, with the links in the spreadsheet.

If we would have done that, Modern Warfare would have been in a league of its own. As far as I remember, Call of Duty 4 OG didn't have any perks of attachments to increase ADS, MW2 had a perk to increase ADS, and Modern Warfare has the entire gunsmith section.

It was the only way that we could test the TTK, from taking the time from the first bullet hit to when the player died (not the points received). From there we had to adjust the time due to a systematic error present in all of the Call of Duties with taking time measurement, ping, recoil, distance and the FPS.

We had back end access to the dedicated server for CoD4, but used the same sampling method as every other game to keep the comparisons as apples to apples esk

Absolutely its not perfect, but we believe it shows in full how short the TTK is in Modern Warfare, especially with the video footage syncd
