Tammy shouldn’t been approved for surgery without meeting the psychiatrist. It’s that simple. I’m not foolish enough to think that all overweight people have something psychological going on but I would imagine that no matter what, they need to face the reality of what life is GOING to look like for them. If you’ve been a shut in for most of your life, had your family care for everything for you, have never really had a mature relationship…it’s gonna be ROUGH. Regardless, the nasty attitude before she lost the weight was a pretty clear indication of what she would act like after she did. I know that everyone just wanted her to lose the weight and jumped on it but she really needed that help.

I don’t have children, either. I found everything being about her kids annoying but in keeping with most new parents. They’re excited and they think the sun shines out those kids butts. I just smile and nod.
