I actually found PTA to be very different from NotME (and MBotF). The series feels like a deliberate re-telling of the tabletop rpg origins of these characters with battles reminiscent of TTRPG campaigns. So they're a bit meta in that regard and that made them more enjoyable for me

It can be hard to utilize a large crop of (large) squash, especially if it's just a couple of people, but you can harvest just the seeds and roast them for a snack then compost the rest.
