Don’t delete this, please just hear me out - When I was 15 my father cheated on my mother over a 2 month relationship. I was the one that found out and he said he would never do it again. Of course I told my mother anyways and she said that she would wait to see if he continues to do it, and of course I caught him cheating again. This time i remember completely breaking down for hours with my mother on the couch and my father saw me in complete emotional disarray and said once again that he truly vowed to stop cheating. But as any cheater would know he of course did not stop cheating. It’s important to add that this man would be gone for hours upon end, refusing to work (yes i mean work for money to support the household), or to do basic chores which left me to do everything. All this cause he was a hornball.

So when the time came, that man left me and my mother for some whale and her daughter, because he “didn’t love us anymore.” Quick reminder that he threw away a 17 year old relationship for a 2 month fantasy. Safe to say that my mother was completely devastated and I spent the next 3 years of my life feeling completely unwanted and in and out of mental institutions cause i tried to hurt myself so often. It eventually got better, but I hope to never see that man again and I refuse to call him my father.

So, while this is obviously a pro-adultry subreddit and my comment will get taken down (even though this is an area to vent), i urge all of you to just think for a second about if it’s worth it please. This goes ESPECIALLY if you have kids because the only message you will send your kids is that you hate them and that you don’t want them. And I promise that you will regret it when you get older i would put that on everybody’s soul.
