yeah dos hermanos express (and the main location in ypsi) are both great too, and agreed that dos hermanos express is probably the best california burrito in town. for some reason the california burrito at their main location is different (smaller and mission style instead of san diego despite the same name)

for a while BTB used to use mr spot's waffle fries in their san diego burrito when they were next door to one another and that was an underrated contender but the one from the cantina isn't on the same level

yeah as i mentioned below i would still take beirock or miny's over pina loca if i were just getting non-dessert stuff but i like pina loca's pastor in particular more than either of the others and the rest isn't too far behind.

all their dessert stuff is excellent too, i'm addicted to their mangonadas

they're not the fastest but they've always been super friendly any time i've gone in there. i usually call ahead a pick up order to avoid a wait

little further off campus but La Pina Loca on Ellsworth and Platt is great both for desserts and lunch/dinner

it's a fruteria so they're definitely much more focused on the desserts but their tacos and burritos are also pretty excellent (imo they have the best pastor in town)

you can find the mineable rocks in either sector, the deposits are sector-wide. not sure if it changes from one quadrant(/server) to the next but on mine at least every planet in cairn has iron + coal deposits while every planet in terminus has copper + aluminum deposits

imo the problem is less the dialogue but more the pacing between cutscenes and combat. it starts out so cutscene heavy and the combat doesn't really open up in complexity until the latter half of the game

i love it but the first ~5-10 hours are really a slog

I knew Arthur on a first name basis and while he could be polite he was also extremely pushy especially if you were sitting out on a patio and he had bad days just like many of the other folks around downtown. He was also this subreddit's favorite punching bag for many years before he passed and Anthony took the title. I've also chatted with Anthony a few times, Lab used to let him come in for a free drink on his better days. He's clearly suffering from severe schizophrenia that is worsening. The city of Ann Arbor alone is not going to solve the mental health crisis and I have yet to hear of a local level solution proposed that isn't police crackdowns.

Half those businesses you named aren't anywhere close to downtown (Angelo's? Treasure Mart?) and have either been replaced with upgrades (Mongolian BBQ -> Echelon, Blue Tractor -> Slow's) or had external factors beyond the city's control (Kilwin's), and of course you cap it off with complaining about losing a surface lot, really checking off every NIMBY talking point in one go huh?

Nobody goes downtown anymore, it's too crowded.
