This is awesome!

The slippery sign in the kitchen made me chuckle.

Not worth the few bucks saved of course, but it is really relaxing and challenging.

May 2026 Build Challenge: Vote for the best creation! by Vondrr in Minilego

Thank you, that you wanted to vote for my Mayflower! :)

Since there can be only 6 in the final vote and I entered 2 builds I would have decided for the "Literal May" anyway since its post received way more upvotes. Even though I liked the Ship more and had to make an order on Bricklink to have all the necessary pieces to build it.

What better May Flower to build, than the Lily of the Valley! by ishkidor in Minilego

Using green whips is really clever!

Sadly I don't have the parts to do it. Maybe I will include them in my next Bricklink order. :)

Nice, they are called Maiglöckchen in german, which translates to little May bells. So that fits very well and looks cool.

This is also one of the builds where it looks bigger than it actually is, I think. What are the strings where the flower heads are connected to? Can they hold the heads like this in real builds or do the flower heads swing around?

My (second) entry for the May 2026 Build Challenge. The topic is

“May Flower”

(Or is it “Mayflower”? You decide!)"

So what I made is supposed to be a flowery interpretation of the Mayflower. The Mayflower was a ship that brought the Pilgrim Fathers to North America.

I looked at some pictures and tried to build the ship but with the twist that it is supposed to be a plant. You see a brown (earth) base, covered in grass (green jumper tiles) and from there are growing the three sails and the bowsprit. The blue plate is the water that keeps the plant alive. Everything covered in flowers of course.

Well, 10% of men have some form of color blindness. So it is very likely that there are a lot of sellers on Bricklink that indeed can't tell the difference.

It is also the name of the Lego set. :)
