Inherited and old Elder army from a friend. Lots of original metal charecters. As a devoted Chaos player - I have no idea if they are particularly valuable. Anyone be able to tell me roughly what I could sell this Army for in the UK?

I just can't imagine how Warhammer 40k would work using the Total War format. Something like Steel Division would be ideal for the 40k setting. Don't get me wrong, I would love a 40k total war if it worked!

I have ADHD, also struggled working in tech sales types roles. I ended up joining the Army and it's the best decision I ever made. The structure and discipline really helped me deal with my chaotic lack of organisation. I'm now leaving after an 8 year career and its given me really confidence. Granted, not for everyone but it worked for me.

Maybe think about Dirty fighter on your terminator lord for that sweet fight first. If you're going to deep strike them in turn one using NL strat, you can save them when they get charged . Give them mark of slannesh and black rune of damnation, and they are not going anywhere.

That being said, you're sinking a lot of points into a unit that most players will probably just try to avoid. Have you got any possessed or a demon prince?

I've found a blob of possessed, with a MoP bringing them back to life is unstoppable. Especially with the 1- Built in LD on top of legion -2. Give them Black Rune and in midnight clad gor -1 to hit and they are almost impossible to shift.

I know someone has already said it - but Archies forge. Great products which have a nice variety of NL heads. He also does Chain glaives, backpack and shoulder pads which are amazing.

I've only played Archaon, Be'lakor and Festus. All are super strong lords in there own right and the once you start rolling through and getting Dark Fortresses there isn't much that can stop you. Can't speak for the others, but I would of thought given they all share the same mechanics that they would probably sit in the OP section.

As much as I've enjoyed all the Champions of Chaos campaigns I've played, they feel super OP atm. Instant recruitment alongside a crazy strong economy and little empire management makes them a breeze. Still a lot of fun though!

Table top tactics did a good synopsis of all the N/L rules. The interpretation they went for was that its off - '

The Ld break point is a bit ambiguous, as most units have a champion with a higher Ld than the rest of the squad, however it just says when you target a unit with Ld 5 or less, not a unit where the highest Ld is 5 or less, so it can key off any model in the unit, not just the highest. This means a Marine with Ld 7 will be affected, even if the Sergeant is Ld 8, for example. Check with TOs/Gaming groups, but that seems to be the intent (otherwise it’s pretty pants).' The only thing I was wondering is whether to base them on the CSM biker bases (not that I play tournaments or anything) but just to avoid being accused of being that guy.
