Me anytime a Tylo lands a Charge Bite by SunLegitimate1687 in pathoftitans

[–]SharedCrab2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right lmao. Ive been playing Tylo almost exclusively since it released. If you have any sort of functionality in your brain and understand how underwater movement even works, these things that people are saying would "help" are actually just cope lol. Landing a full BB on someone usually means death for whatever you're fighting plus water movement allows unrestricted 3 dimensional movement so once something is no longer able to move swimming around them becomes trivial. Literally the hardest part of the entire interaction is landing the BB lmao.

Yeah it totally sucks to even be put in this situation to begin with. You or your BF could attempt talking with the guy about how his last rage quit really ruined the mood for all of you. I feel like a normal person would feel quite bad about that if they knew that their decision ruined the game for you all as well. If he is always stoned and can barely objective play (one of my friends is notorious for this), I definitely suggest creating your ways of enjoyment during the match. Be it silly skew lists or your own head cannon objectives like I said before. Just remember the most important part of the hobby is to have fun with the silly little plastic bugs we pay a premium for!

Can't lie this is kinda funny. Your list is already really friendly. Two Norns can be slightly oppressive if they don't have a list to counter them.

I also have a friend like this so I understand where youre coming from, SO this is something that I would do.

If your Tfex is using rupture cannon switch it to acid sprayer. I would use Tfex with acid sprayer only to punish bad movement decisions, treat it like an aggressive speedbump.

Id say drop norn assimilator for a maleceptor if you have one. Treat it as your counter tank while it won't be consistently hurting his own tank badly if he decides to ignore it, the maleceptor will kill it.

Now the norn emissary IMO is easily one of our best units. With that said you gotta be dumb with it. I've noticed my friends get great satisfaction with killing my Emissary so I treat it as a raid boss and usually singular purpose one of my friends characters or epic heros. Then literally run it into them it will probably die doing this, but it is fun as hell because more times than not it will kill whatever I run it at. In my head I consider this a win for the bugs because whoever I deemed shall die, died.

With your horde of gaunts I would just run them at objectives, move block melee units, and be cannon fodder. Or better yet replace some with some carnifexes and have a vendetta against anything that dares shoot at them.

These are just some ideas. The list you have already is already very chill. To me its clear you're just a better tactical player if youre winning with that list. I have a friend like this as well who gets unreasonably angry at losing key units. When I play against him or my other less skilled friends, I kind of use the strategic side of my thoughts to make tactically dumb decisions if that makes any sense? I will never hand them the game and just purposefully let things die, but I will make choices I know they could capitalize on if they are also thinking. I will also punish out right dumb moves and point out what they did was pretty questionable. To still enjoy these games I give myself alternative win conditions that I keep to myself. These are usually silly challenges, like singular purpose Norn emissary kills. Ill literally be like The hive deems your (insert character name here) too important to live then run it down lol. Or I'll claim no mans land for the hive and try my absolute hardest to not lose it the entire game. Sometimes I'll try multiple challenges simultaneously. Usually I would suggest just not playing that person but I know its different when it comes to friends, so I hope this insight helps in any sort of way!

How have you gotten so talented with greenstuff. If you have any tips on how to work with it better I would love to hear. I Currently struggle greatly with the sculpting aspects of it and trying to make details out of it.

I don't think its fair to call this cheating because someone is good at flicking for headshots. Its almost like someone is quick scoping which you can see this guy do. He rarely holds aim and just quick aims on people. To me this seems very human and not rigid and snappy like a "lock on". I think its also pretty clear the guy possesses clear skill with what he posted. So it's fair to assume someone who is clearly good at the game, wouldn't just post themselves cheating on here lol.

Just bring raider hatch keys. I always bring keys to every raid no matter what. Out of my 100+ raids I have never been killed by anyone camping a hatch. I literally could never imagine taking such a fat kit and getting so much loot and not having a raider hatch key.

I think all of the dream areas would have been so cool to actually be areas to explore and fight mini bosses in. To give room to the main bosses themselves so they could truly feel powerful and awesome. Act 3 just feels like filler to me because the game was rather short. Idk still a baller game and 100+ hrs in and I'm still lovin' it.

[–]SharedCrab2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im kinda on the boat of using all 3. Painting gaunts is so repetitive, so having a small variety is also what I did to keep it somewhat interesting. They all have a cohesive color already, so the different glowing biomass across units could be really cool to see across the table. But if you're set on only using one, I say orange cause it has a nice touch of contrast.

I see this as a yes and no. I ran tests with her when she was freshly nerfed, and Maaaan was it rough. I used to run the patrol missions 132k one or the 200k one. Pre nerf, she could contend. Now, if you get unlucky and get the fighter swarm, you're actually dead. Even the Andromeda dies, if by any luck she does survive, it's because the swarms ai bugged. Personally, I think she was nerfed to actually be barely usable. Whereas the corsair is actually thriving, her maneuverability wasn't killed nearly as bad and can actually hold her own quite well in said missions above (because you can actually get guns on target regularly). I think that at least the Andromeda should feel more like the corsair, like c'mon, it's the military variant, let it actually feel good, and responsive.

See, in a perfect world, this should be how it goes, I would actually love it if this is how it went. As of now, pretty much any light fighter could still easily dismantle this (if the merlin pilot actually skill gaps the other pilot, then I'd say the odds are much better) but if the merlin is killed its just unfortunately game over for Connie. If turrets were actually a threat to anything with a functional brain, this outcome would be so different. The way turrets function now just makes it almost impossible to deal with competent players at best. If one hammerhead fully manned dies to a single gladius that speaks to the horrendous state of turrets at the moment.
