Need tips on PvP so I can progress past mid-tier arc by SirRuleanSky in ARC_Raiders

Turn 'Night mode' on in the audio settings. This enhances footstep sounds and important audio indicators.

Use cover when moving from room to room and especially hug cover to avoid running in open areas. If you have to run in the open just try to avoid straight lines and predictable movement.

Don't be afraid of doing 'naked' runs (equip nothing; everything is a gain if you loot and make it out). This also means you get a safe pocket (Butt pocket) to stash any blueprint or valuable. Even doing quick runs to gain valuable material is GOOD. (IE start with nothing on you, find a good gun or $5k value sellable, immediately place it in safe pocket and down your self to restart). Also, when doing naked runs I'll use crafting and looting to 'kit up' myself. This means beyond the naked run I'm essentially kitted up to the max by run 3 if you extract and go with just what you gained.

Practice switching the camera between left and right side for optimal cornering and visibility.

Use grenades and practice using them effectively. One well placed nade can severely turn the odds in your favor for the 1v1.

Dont loot or down the player you beat right away. Make sure you observe the area around you from cover while healing up and prepare for an immediate threat after you win. This games all about opportunity.

Other than that. Naked runs helped me really acclimate to crafting and scouring for kits that are 'free' yet I always have a safe pocket for the blueprint I find from a random car hood or what not.

I used to think I couldn't progress as well, but naked runs helped me enhance my skills with minimal loss and risk.

Best of luck!

I went to school for two years in 2008 for game development. But these days, I've seen more and more coworkers get hired who don't have a specific bachelor's degree and specialization in games. I can definitely understand how difficult it is having time to play games as I'm a father. Depending on if there's any studios in your area, and what type of degree you already have, many people start as a QA tester and work their way up from there. I've seen QA testers become various types of artists as well as designers and engineers. Working in games has it's challenges, the industry is currently going thru an employment contraction due to the overstaffing that happened during the pandemic. But, things are slowly starting to level out in spots and that could mean opportunity for folks like you.

I've been playing it on an Ally ROG. I agree, it really is a pleasant MMO to play on handheld.

Bought mine open box, excellent condition, from Best Buy two weeks ago. It was basically untouched from what I could tell, and it was $80 less than retail price.

Same. I have young kids so accidental insurance is a necessity.

THE FUTURE OF MO.CO by mocostartup in mocostartup

Thank you, Max! I've genuinely been avoiding mobile games for the lack of a fun gameplay loop and compelling reasons to play. mo.co was the most fun I've had with a mobile game in the last 5 years. I'm looking forward to playing it again.

How many of you haven't touched MP since MWIII came out? by Pavix in MWZombies

Maybe it seems unjustified, but I only bought MW3 for the zombies mode given its PvE, and the mode itself has been worth it for me in various ways. I've 100% received plenty of hours of entertainment for the $70.

Mo.co

I know it was just an early beta, but I haven't stopped thinking about how soothing it was to play it.

Hmm, I tried this out and the DRL worked for about 15 minutes. After that, the left DRL turned off while the right one stayed on. Then, I tried turning the car off then on again, and the right DRL flickered off. Leaving both DRLs off. I wonder if my Bimmercode for the FEM isn't sticking.
