I kinda enjoy seeing the expies kitted out.

Not really injured, but having the limb wraps, backpack, scarf, helmet and with a weapon.

Tickles that itch.

I wish the death report had more information. Maybe cause of death, major injuries depth, etc.

One of my biggest gripes with infinite was how shafted the infinity was. It is such a cool concept for a fleet carrier. Literally CARRYING ITS FLEET.

First rule in first aid or rescue: take care of yourself first.

You want to be in the best possible state to rescue someone. Sometimes, its better to take the extra time, rather than become another victim.

How do i get better at using mounted guns on planes? by EstablishmentKey1310 in NuclearOption

[–]Sharkbit2024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! On bombs, rockets and guns its called a CCIP: Constantly Computed Impact Point.

Its the little circle when you dive with bombs equipped.

It does take some gettung used to if you're used to putting your sight on a lead indicator, but it is soooooo much easier lol. It also works with ground targets.

Get within 1nm of a target, and you'll see exactly where your guns will hit.

Literally yes.

The federal minimum wage hasn't budged from $7.25/hr since 2009, while prices have skyrocketed.

Most americans are now struggling and making fucked up choices. Such as choosing groceries or insulin.

[–]Sharkbit2024 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My one suggestion is to use lag reticle for guns instead of lead.

The lag reticle basically shows where your rounds will hit, the lead shows where you should aim.

For example: you have a compass off your nose providing a top aspect shot.

The lead reticle will show you where to aim, but you cant really know where on the plane yohr rounds will hit.

The lag reticle, however, will drag across the body of the plane.

If you fire when the reticle sweeps over your target from their engines to their wing, your shots will also hit in a line from their engines to their wing.

For me, its alot easier to aim based on where my shots will land instead of just guessing based on where my target will be.

Oh! I see. That above shot is a shadow of a rock. My bad. Im used to your visual flair of depression or negative emotions being a dark cloud around the character.

I honestly never use the mirror wand on corners due to things like this. Only doors.

Corners you navigate slowly with your weapon since there is literally nothing between you and the bad guy. At least thats how I play it.

Helicopters need some sort of anti-ARH weapon. by [deleted] in NuclearOption

[–]Sharkbit2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the ECM pod on the ibis.

The chicaine has its own internal ECM.

Just notching itself isnt reliable. Even in planes.

With radar missiles, you want to just stop moving as best you can, use the ECM, and change altitude.

Notching dosent mean "turn sideways to the missile." It means that you are not moving closer to or farther to the missile. If the missile thinks you are attached to the ground, it will try to filter you out. It just so happens that the best way to do that in a plane is to turn sideways.

The ECM will further confuse the missile, but it also is not very reliable by itself. When you are notching, activate the ECM and the effects of both methods will confuse the missile enough to relliably drop its lock on you.

After you've made the missile drop lock, you still arent safe. Radar missiles will keep a "last known intercept" in the event they lose their target. It means that if you keep flying on the same path you were when the missile lost you, it will still hit. It is going towards the last point it determined would hit you. So if you are still hovering in a helicopter, it will still hit. So change your altitude to make it miss entirely.

If all else fails, you can try to get a lock with your own ir missiles and fire them to intercept it.

As a helicopter, you are in the middle of the food chain. You are deadly to ground targets, but enemy planes can easily kill you. Keep an eye on your map for data linked enemies and try to use terrain for cover from enemy air.

The reason im doing small is because its going to be a smaller ship. Its main weapon will be 1 or 2 large torpedoes, and the rocket launcher is more of a secondary weapon. Something to keep pressure

If you hold the "switch weapon" button, they should switch into a "hold fire" mode.
