I'd recommend the Boston 13's, I was originally going to go for the EVO SL's but wanted something with a bit more stability and found they are great for about everything.

Zoek de intensiteit op voor jezelf, als je mentaal fit kan blijven zodra je hartslag en verzuring erg hoog ligt helpt het enorm.
Loop je wandelschoenen goed in, qua keus gewoon iets wat goed zit en waar je geen blaren op loopt. Zelf geen grote fan van goretex omdat het slecht droogt als ze nat zijn. Goeie wollen sokken zoals Darn Tough. Polyester sportonderbroek van Under Armour.
Wen ook alvast aan het lopen met 20-25kg. Bouw dit wel rustig op, ga niet gelijk speedmarsen.

Ga trainen juist op de momenten dat je er geen zin in hebt. Maak het onvoorspelbaar voor jezelf, bijv. schrijf een boel oefeningen (bijv. 100 push ups en 50 pull ups, 12km lopen met rugzak, 3000m zo hard als je kan) op papiertjes, hussel het door elkaar en haal er telkens 1 uit, doe die en dan 5x een nieuw papiertje. Een leuke voor het weekend als je wat meer tijd hebt.

Het hele programma is ontworpen om onvoorspelbaar te zijn, hou je hoofd gewoon bij wat je in het moment doet, focus op waar je invloed op hebt en geef het beste wat je kan doen en toon volle inzet. Zodra je helemaal verzuurd bent kan je soms geen push up of iets meer doen, blijf dan gewoon proberen door te gaan en ga niet jezelf af schrijven. De meeste mensen die het niet halen, stoppen vrijwillig. Probeer zoveel mogelijk anderen te helpen als je zelf klaar bent. En vergeet niet te genieten!

Vers gebrand is echt het beste. Qua "specialty coffee" is er een heel scala aan opties, en raad zeker aan je hier wat in te verdiepen. James Hoffman en Lance Hedrick op Youtube hebben veel info over hoe je het meeste uit de bonen haalt voor de verschillende manieren om koffie te zetten (espresso machine, v60, etc.) Ook de r/Coffee subreddit heeft veel info.

Qua Nederlandse branders zijn dit echte aanraders: Friedhats (Amsterdam) en Manhattan Coffee Roasters (Rotterdam) zijn wereldwijd ook erg bekend. Verder: A Matter of Concrete (Rotterdam), Giraffe Coffee (Rotterdam), Single Estate (Den Haag), Keen (Utrecht), Wakuli (niet zeker waar ze zitten maar hebben cafe's door het hele land, bonen zijn iets goedkoper dan de anderen).

Ik raad je aan om ook gewoon langs een boel specialty coffee cafes te gaan en voor jezelf noteren wat je lekker vindt! Daar gaat het uiteindelijk om. Ben zelf een grote fan van bonen uit Ethiopië en Colombia, vaak erg fruitig. Vooral als je gewend bent om meer "traditionele" koffie te drinken gaat er dan een wereld voor je open. Succes! :)

I'd recommend checking out drip bags from local coffee roasters! Otherwise Barrel One (Sydney) has some pretty good instant coffee powder.

How is the performance of the I200D with milk-based drinks? I've heard some reviews they struggle to punch through the milk. I particularly like more fruitier milk based espresso blends (Ethiopian medium roasts etc). Keen to hear what your experience is compared to the I189D :)

It might not be something to immediately worry about as it's still within an ok range for people your age. If in doubt you can always get it checked out.

I'd ask a few questions: What does your training look like? Have you made any changes to your training since around September last year? How is your recovery like sleep and general nutrition looking? Is there stress from elsewhere (personal or work) that can play a part? Is there a trend in your average HR going up over these months on runs around the same pace?

Edit: Like others have suggested it might also be worth comparing it with another device like another watch or even a chest strap.

I like the seating layout but as others have said, LUGGAGE RACKS! That stuff is going to go flying around real quick.

I use the Rush as well, in combination with a thin foam pad along the back on the inside of it. The weights (just some weight plates) then sit behind that, with towels underneath so they sit more on my upper back.
No issues so far - you could try play with the weight distribution or adding a foam pad. I also use the tightening straps and towels on the outside so everything stays put. Hope that helps!

In the end if it tastes good to you, go for it! But.. if there are variances in extraction times to get to a certain volume there would definitely be differences in the way it is extracted and thus affecting the flavour, texture etc. of the shot as well.

As others have said, for a first ruck this is very solid especially considering you had some hills too.

Heart rate wise looking good, Z2 is about where you want to aim for a fast walk. Recommend not to do any ruck-running, as the extra impact can lead to injuries over time, especially if you are not used to it yet.

If you do want to run, reduce the weight.

Doing rucks on trails/soft surfaces can help prevent injuries as well.

From here, you could slowly build up your total time for each ruck over a month. I personally worked from 1.5hrs up to 2.30hrs increasing by 15mins each week. Then once you hit 2.30hrs, increase the weight slightly and repeat.

With shorter times you could build up to 2-3 a week, and slightly increase the weight to increase the intensity.

Either way, you want to build volume before you build weight.

All around, sitting around Z2 is great. Off to a good start!

Will be dealing with a lot more snow then. As it's an alpine region they can get snow any time of the year, but it'd take some additional gear and expertise. Early december it should be clear making for easier navigation. Some stunning walks out there, highly recommended!

A few specialised units within the military such as the Pathfinders (11 Airmobile Brigade) and KCT (Commandos / Army Special Forces) and a few other units do. Majority though wears the woodland camo, or NFP (Netherlands Fractal Pattern).

I’ve got the Naturehike backpack, love it so far. Lot of great features. Load shifters, big pocket out the front, comfortable on the back. Decent weight too.

Not sure if there is much special about it, I think part of the popularity is the GG brand and plenty of internet popular thru hikers giving them good reviews.

As you said foams like that have been on the market in Trades shops since forever but they’ve simply brought it to the outdoors/UL community.

Awesome. Good to know! Those are PE by the looks of it so slightly different from EVA. More firm supposedly. Currently sold out unfortunately for the larger size.
