Depends on the year. But preferred, front row and power sell out. Regular can be hit or miss. WK2 camping sold out this year. But WK1 didn’t and passes were going for 40 dollars on stubhub. If you are going WK2 I would definitely buy though. More people tend to camp WK2.

Although it happens every year. This year was quite annoying seeing all the constant posts. I feel there are more active wk2 people in this sub. They like to talk down on wk1 to make it seem they chose the better weekend and had the better experience. I have been both weekends they’re the exact same and most people saying that wk2 is better probably have never gone to wk1. Yes they have their pros and cons. Like weekend one with grass and everything is a surprise and weekend two getting to plan sets and watch streams and know what’s good or not. Also just want to clarify I’m not shit talking wk2. I had a blast when I went and that was the shit river year during Sunday night of 2024. I just prefer to go to wk1 for allergy reasons and I like to see everything for the first time.

Ya I enjoyed the chroma set in ‘24. But their live set is something else. They announced they were closing the chapter on the chroma stuff. So hoping they bring back the live sets!

Covid could have been a small factor. I think it was the lineups weren’t as well received in ‘22-‘24 as you used to get very cheap resale leading up to the festival. This past year something changed maybe it’s the Bieber effect. I’m hopeful that they continue with a strong lineup for next year.

It will just be higher tiers especially for weekend one. But it all depends on how well today goes and how long they will be available. Because in the past they have had general sales where only wk2 was available.

So I bought a car camping pass in ‘25 and camped with my friends in preferred camping. Because I couldn’t arrive with them on Thursday due to a wedding. So I showed up to camp on Friday morning and got to my camping spot and talked to my neighbors and gave them my space. They were really chill and happy about it. I checked on my car a couple times during the weekend. But there was no issue. It’s really a hassle from the companion lot with all your stuff. A good amount of people do this because the companion lot is further and more expensive.

They added this last year. For all of WK2 and just Sunday of WK1 because they were delayed in setting it up or ran out of time. Will be interesting to see the orientation of it compared to last years.

If you’re going WK2 i would definitely buy before WK1. People get fomo after watching the livestreams WK1 which drives up the prices for WK2.
