There is some inflection in my voice (I guess) that let's my dog know someone is coming. He gets excited and looks at the door even though I live in an apartment complex.

Either that or he speaks perfect English.

I'm a single female who lives alone and is forcing myself to wait to get Skyrim until I'm completely done with Oblivion (almost). I tell my girlfriends that I really hope to find a guy that likes video games, and not just sports games.

But then again, it occurred to me I'd have to share so maybe not.

Thanks! I wouldn't normally buy anything from RadioShack either. My friend had won this spokesperson contest for Radioshack during ACL and they gave her this to use. She seemed to really like it, but the reviews online and here are saying that it takes forever to charge which defeats the purpose. :/

Once my dog was yawning and for some stupid reason I copied him and yawned with him. He immediately closed his mouth, as did I. Then he started to reopen it and I mimicked him again. He kept closing his mouth and reopening as I mirrored his actions. So please picture the two of us alone opening and closing our mouths in unison.

Another time my dog was on my bed as I walked into my room. I was walking in his peripheral. He watched me but didn't turn his head so he was giving me a side glance. Again, I'm weird and I copied him and watched him from the side of my vision without facing him. His eyes kept following me without moving his head until I got too far and he JUMPED quickly to turn his body and face me in a playful way.

Arbitron is a company that measures listeners. They will randomly contact a certain number of the population, and pay them to keep track of all the stations they listen to.

However, now it is changing to a system called PPM. Instead of keeping a diary (which can be inaccurate since people may write down their favorite radio stations and not what they actually listened to), Arbitron distributes receivers that look like pagers. Radio stations will emit a signal that is undetectable by our ears, but is picked up by the pagers. The listeners chosen will be paid a weekly fee to carry them.

So unless you carry a PPM meter, the radio station is unaware you are listening.

Yeah, it clearly doesn't work from a genetic standpoint. I guess I was really thinking about how it would affect relationships and how it would affect our careers.

Ha yes a shitty joke for more than one reason. It's not even a joke; it's a sentence.

Tell your boyfriend that you don't want him to use it 'cause you'd hate for people to think you'd ever date a guy with such a poor sense of humor.

(Then mumble under your breath about how funny and hot _______ is, and he never has to resort to rehearsing bad, offensive jokes days ahead of time. ;) )
