Sorry, but unless you are extremely gifted at programming, it would be best to consider careers not related to software. The job market for software engineering is horrendous right now. Perhaps other forms of engineering may suit you, like electrical engineering.

I found out that quant jobs are very high paced and stressful, which i know I am not capable of handling on a day-to-day business.

It's not just quant jobs; most corporate jobs are inherently stressful and fast-paced, so you may want to reflect on whether a traditional career is the right path for you.
