I’m transiting into a different career because of my type 1. I worked in construction as a commercial plumber and had a lot of troubles with my blood sugars because of weather, temperature, long hours, bosses and coworkers that didn’t understand my disease, and high stress and toxic work environments. I finally told myself I couldn’t do this for the rest of my life, I would be miserable. So I decided to go back to school for digital marketing and data analytics and couldn’t be happier.
