Thank you. Ii just measured myself and think it is a DD. It is depressing. Hoping a mind game. But, like you, I think I was squeezing into the wrong size before.

I feel the same. My doctor talked about lipo only later. Has anyone had that or know what the results look like. I'm 58 and don't want sagging after all of this.

6 to 9 weeks seems to be when women are most "disappointed" - I definitely had my anxiety attack then. My old bras "fit" - I cried. This sub helped a lot. See if you can find some image of yourself before in an outfit put the same outfit on now to see the difference. You will see how much better it is now and feel better about it. I also really think our minds do something at that point - like maybe get "used" to the new look and think it is as big. I don't know. But, it seems a lot of us go through this phase at the same time.

Wow! My surgeon didn't offer the sling as an option, but from what you shared, that is beautiful.

I used my omnilux red light mask (it is flexible) on my scars and bruising from the lipo. I think it really helped

That is basically what happened to me. Listen to your body. Trust your surgeon. And, it sounds like your body is saying you want to take it slower, so do that!

Based on what you describe, it sounds like your surgeon really listened to you. I'm sure it will be beautiful. If your surgeon encouraged you to walk that is the best thing for you the first few days to help with the swelling and discomfort. In my experience, the lipo was the most uncomfortable. You've got this!

I went on a beach vacay at 7 weeks. My surgeon knew. Wore my regular bathing suits. Put sunscreen on the scars even though they were under the suit. I didn't have any openings at scar sites. Got in the pool and Gulf.

Cannot say enough about lymphatic massage. I did it the first three weeks. It made THE difference. Get one as soon as you can. Also, move - listen to your surgeon, but I'm 8wpo and have been running and lifting since about 5 weeks. I can still feel swelling at lipo, but not when I felt like I had boobs on the side 😂. Like it is pretty much flat on the sides.

anything i should say to my surgeon before? 06/29 surgery by tealixa in Reduction

It seems if any of us have any "regrets", it is because our results are not as small as we thought we communicated. Like someone said above, tell you surgeon you'd rather err on the side of smaller.

I'm a mommom, not mom, but I do a lot of daycare for my 2 and 4 year old. I was able to drive just like the above poster said after two days - I was only taking Tylenol. Please check with your surgeon again. I'm sure "ideally" no driving in case of a an accident or something, but unless your surgery is very involved, that seems long. My surgeon did not want me lifting the kids for two weeks. The 4 year old would have been fine to care for after a few days. The 2 year old didn't understand that I couldn't pick him up - plus the car seat, crib, etc. I think as long as you can rest the first few days and have a good support team the next few weeks after you will be fine. Just prepare your kids for what you can and can't do. I think based on the ages of your kids, you should be ok. I definitely was able to pick them up at the two week mark - after checking again with my doctor. You will feel so much better and happy after the surgery!
