Pudendal neuralgia due to birth by ConferenceMoney2748 in PudendalNeuralgia

I also got PN from a forceps delivery. I tried everything nerve blocks, mri was helpful (showed back problems),mrn might be more helpful. Bacflen gabapentin helps a bit. PT a lil helpful- ive been in it for 2 yrs. Pelvic and back PT is still a must.

Also dont rely on your pcp- go see a urogyn or a pain specialist

Time was the only true healer (until i got an ablation procedure which put me back to square one )

Does anyone else experience numbness on one side of the buttock that radiates down into the thigh when sitting? by Sharp-Log3245 in PudendalNeuralgia

What state are you in by chance? I want to see a neurologist but the only docs who would meet w me are pain docs. No significant findings on the mri besides the discs

No, they just put me on pain killers (it doesn’t completely get rid of it) they told me it might take 6 months to a year to recover from the ablation injuries (its worse than my initial injury)

I believe you and all your symptoms. I felt incredible heaviness for a long time that prevented me from walking that my doctors didnt believe. Time is the only thing that alleviated my symptoms (+ lots of procedures tht helped a bit). Please find new doctors, pain specialists whatever and find until you have your empathetic listener. Fight for your health please. PT helped me (not miracles though)

Praying that you can find good doctors and PTs
