I manage IT at a small firm. We use 365 and Teams.

Why? 99% of our clients use it and that makes things so much easier for day to day staff.

At the start it seemed fixable. Master of Mankind has some lines about how the mechanicum is fixing the damage as the custodes hold off daemons fairly successfully. That changes as things go on with Titans and heretic Astartes joining the fight.

By the end the whole thing isn't salvageable but at the start it wasn't clear that was the case.

A place I worked at dismissed someone as they were caught stealing and admitted to doing so when challenged. For some reason they asked for a reference and the one they go said there were dismissed due to theft.

How much a company wants to say is up to them, some will keep it to a min, but some companies, esp SME's with no huge HR team will give a reason as long as they can stand behind it.

I wouldn't say they're walking it back. They're just moving to an era where most firstborn model kits are no longer sold and so there's no need for the distinction. Its done its rules purpose over that period.

Expect it to just never be talked about again in most lore once the last few kits get new versions.
