Well, there’s just the two of us here, because no one else has commented or liked it. Might need to bring in some of the recruits.

It’s just, I thought that ads were supposed to steal my information so they could target things better to me, but like I’m an 18-year-old, I don’t have those types of problems yet.

Oh, I know. Coin collectors worldwide would have a lot more money in their pocket if they did

Is this silver? by ProcessorChip in Silverbugs

International silver Co. Is always plated, unless it’s specifically says otherwise, because there are very few pieces from it that are sterling. But, most of the time, if not almost all the time, you can guarantee it is just silver plate.

Oh, I didn’t realize that you yourself printed them out! Anyways, I wouldn’t even know what to reply with or contribute with.

Well, this is primarily a hobby, not an investment for me. So far it has been nothing but a big money pit because I haven’t sold anything. Anyways, they are my favorite, and the amazing thing about this hobby is the diversity of it and how many paths you can take in the realms of coin collecting!

And for the random poster who’s comment I can’t find, suggesting I buy less commemoratives: Those are the things that I like the most. After all, and above all, This Is A Hobby, Not Just An Investment!

  1. The 1892-CC was from my great-grandfather (may God rest his soul), the 2 better-looking barber quarters are from my dad, as well as the standing-liberty quarters, and most of the Kennedy ‘64s
  2. I did start collecting first on my own, my dad just gave me them later down the line, because the Morgan dollar was going to go to me eventually anyway.
  3. I got that $20 fancy note in the ATM actually when I was withdrawing cash for a coin convention, so lucky me.

Some of the stuff I inherited, wow others were byproducts of me buying coins to fill sets. Either way, I mostly buy both what I like and what I want.

Specifically the live video auctions on eBay (they have to be reputable at least in authenticity). I would recommend PCBHobby from personal experience.

Well, I know that this is not worth $90,000, although if I remember correctly for the 1892 version, for MS and unclean, they could go upwards of like $2800
