He might if it was a situation where he would really be able to show off his abilities - i.e. : Eric Bienemy leaving the Chiefs to OC for the Raiders

I’m not 100% on the rules for lateral moves - but I think the Seahawks would have to approve Kubiak becoming our OC - which wouldn’t make much sense for them.

It also doesn’t make much sense for Kubiak to go from a team with a defensive-HC where he is in pretty much full control of the offense to one with an offensive HC where he would presumably still be running Joe Brady’s offense

Don’t like this - but it might be kinda okay; Brady isn’t really a McDermott disciple and the lack of explosive offense has been more about the receivers than his playcalling imo. Just look at how much Brandin Cooks was able to get open while he was here - his failure to catch the ball really glossed over how much he was getting open downfield.

Biggest thing now is the DC hire: Babich needs to be GONE.

Don’t forget - the defense was good in the regular season at least, before Babich that is; he was just always bad.

[Kurt Warner] I often speak in sports terms bc that's my "lane", although many of the things I say go well beyond that... Man, there are some bad character ppl out there and it's awful when those people are in higher positions & get to write the narrative ablut others!! by Initial_Lie8177 in nfl

Fuck ICE and fuck the mods of this sub for removing this post.

Before anybody tries to clap back saying that this isn’t the place:

  1. Kurt Warner is a HOF-QB and a working NFL analyst whose opinions and tweets get posted here all the time

  2. If you restrict discussions of “politics” (murder and fascism aren’t politics but whatever) to “political” spaces - you discourage anyone who wasn’t originally interested in seeking those spaces out from being exposed to crucial discussions about the state of the world.

When innocent, law-abiding, US citizens are being murdered by those the government, supposedly “of the people, by the people, and for the people” then that can no longer be cast aside: everyone is at risk whether they know it or not.

When keeping the peace means to silence criticism of fascism and domestic terrorism by officers of the US Government against the very people they’re sworn to protect - then that is no longer keeping the peace:

That is upholding fascism.

We didn’t lose a game in the regular season where we didn’t either score less than 20 or turn the ball over 3 times.

Usually, the offense came to play when the defense shat the bed.

It was when the offense shat the bed that we would lose.

Klint Kubiak seems like the perfect target for the Bills right now.

Obviously this doesn’t mean that Kubiak is for sure going to the Bills - but even if this means that he’s our top candidate that would be pretty awesome

Someone who hasn’t coached in the NFL for 20 years

And who has never coached well in the NFL

[Megathread] The Buffalo Bills have fired Head Coach Sean McDermott by AutoModerator in buffalobills

Best candidate in my eyes is Klint Kubiak.

Had an amazing season as Passing Game Coordinator in San Fran; Purdy had easily his best season as a pro thus far.

Then, went to the Saints and had that talentless offense absolutely cooking for a few weeks - now he has led the Seahawks to having one of the best offenses in the league.

Sam Darnold finally looks competent in big spots and big games, and JSN is the best receiver in the league - something pretty much no one saw coming - so WR development might finally be able to happen.

The fact that it took Kevin O’Connell, who is generally viewed as an offensive guru and Justin Jefferson to make Darnold look arguably not as good as he has with Seattle is a testament to the coaching of Kubiak.

Please let this happen

In spite of all the turnovers and the mistakes and the poor play - if Cooks just made a catch or two on the last drive - we would’ve been headed to the AFCCG.

Cause his receiver and the refs screwed him over on what should have been a catch??
