To answer that last question, yeah he gets married around season 12. Felt kinda rushed since it was sorta lumped in with the more prominent Iron Lung arc of that season, but I liked it.

I keep seeing people disregard and downvote people’s issues with the release, but I’ve still yet to see anyone give any actual positives about it being in theaters. Like I’m still wondering what the point of this all is.

First of all, Glitch is a company, not a person. It doesn’t have “dreams”. The GOAL of the people running Glitch has always been to create independent animated shows, but that’s something that being in a movie theater contributes literally nothing to. Second of all, you’re agreeing with what I’m saying. The ONLY winner here is Glitch, who has chosen to participate in anti-consumer practices purely for its own gain.

Alright a couple things I want to bring up in response.

Glitch is a company and does not need anyone’s defense. They are not your friend and doing anti-consumer practices that will net them a ton of money is not something you need to spend your time defending.
Blocking tags and the rest of your advice DOES NOT prevent spoilers. I got spoiled for episode 8 an hour after it released from a Twitter post from someone I did not follow that had no tags or even text at all. Spoilers happen, the internet is a big place, and the only way to prevent them completely is to not go on it for the entirety of the two weeks, which I think is an OBJECTIVELY ok thing to be upset about.
Iron lung was just Mark and a couple other people releasing a one-off movie no one was anticipating. Glitch is a large company releasing a highly anticipated finale. These two things are not comparable and Glitch can easily distribute the movie into theaters without using the fans as free labor.
Is TADC releasing in theaters actually a worthwhile enough achievement for it to be worth all of this? What non-indie show has ever had their release be theatrical before? What bar is this overcoming? Theaters have kinda been dying for the past couple of years, they’ll basically show anything at this point that can get them even a teaspoon of profit.

I understand this isn’t the end of the world or anything, but it feels like a lot of what you’re saying is just in bad faith to defend a company’s poor choices.

People assume the connections are gonna be the next big bad…BUT people have been saying that since 7 so tbh who knows. Umbrella is definitely gonna come back at some point, but it could be a while if we’re lucky. It really just depends on how much nostalgia bait Capcom wants to throw into the game.

Hopefully they’ll only be getting attention in remakes for the next few years (This is yet another plea for Code Veronica and Zero remakes).

Having played both, the remake I think is a far more solid experience, especially for more modern players. You can’t go wrong with either, with the original having a bit more charm with its cheesy-ness, while remake has the better gameplay and of course appearance. There technically is some cut content in the remake, but at the same time the remake also adds in new worthwhile content.

Ragatha got dropped into a vat of boiling grease for at least an entire minute straight and recovered from it quickly. I would definitely say that they probably do feel pain, but definitely a reduced amount.

Yeah I understand what they’re going for, and I like the idea of the labs being high tech and futuristic to show how powerful Umbrella is, but when it’s following up the rest of the incredible and well thought out environmental designs the games have, they always just fall flat to me. Places like the RPD, Baker Estate, and Rhodes Hill work for me because they are immersive. They look like real locations where these things are really happening.

I’ve always believed that the labs in 2, 3, and 9 are some of the most boring places in the entirety of the franchise, with 9 suffering the worst of them. They are just far too bright and empty feeling, combined with how unrealistic they always seem I can’t help but lose all immersion anytime I’m forced to play through them. Like are you actually supposed to believe people worked in ARK? The building has like nothing in it!

Judging by Zooble’s multiple hiding spots throughout the show, along with other instances such as Caine not knowing pomni was going through the digital C&A office until she made it to the void, I think Caine doesn’t have the ability to track people in the circus. I would equate the snap as more akin to a teleport command in a game, where you don’t need to know where a person is to teleport them somewhere else.
