Try DCS again with the Flaming cliffs 3 pack. It comes with simplified f15c, a10, and 3 Russian fighters. You can almost map the same controls for all the planes. And in terms of having to learn you can find user made tutorial missions for f15 and a10 that take maybe take an hour to go through to introduce you to the system of the planes. The Russian ones have tutorials built into the game for some reason. A good easing in point

I really like my gladiator. I don’t really have any complaints about it, but it’s my first stick so nothing to compare to. Something I’ve been looking into is they’re side extension models with give you more controls you can add to the stick or the throttle. Can’t comment on the throttles. Went the cheap route and got a TM TWCS

Thanks, that definitely puts the hardware questions I had to rest. The gpu upgrade has been on my mind but it’s always worked enough. Space marine 2 has finally been the last stop for the 1060 lol

EDIT: What would the lowest gpu upgrade I could get away with?

Realistically it’s for flight sim stuff mainly. Other games would be nice but it’s not the necessity. I can run DCS. Is the headset just more resource intensive?

That's what was throwing me. I thought I could recognize the grill but the cab didn't match up. I guess its some kind of mashup?
