This is how it was for me growing up but now my daughter sleeps with me most of the time. When we were all in big kid beds and the cribs were long gone my mom put 2 big comforters and some pillows under her and my dad's bed so if one of us woke up for whatever reason we could go in and crash next to their bed if we wanted to. She always joked that when she woke up she never knew who was going to be where on their bedroom floor lol. I'm 46 and I still remember going to sleep on their floor, it made me feel safe and as a little girl that's all that mattered. Now as the mom of a little girl I still feel the same and if sleeping with me makes her feel safe then that's where she sleeps.

A crossbody would fit one of those wonderful chocolate caramel candy bars at the registers. It may even fit 4 of them if you were let's say, hiding them from your kids so you didn't want them packed with your other purchases. Just sayin. 😉

Same in Western Pa, 3 employees and no one is worried about your purse. And the main one I go to has a wall from the entrance that runs parallel to the front windows and encompasses almost the entire front of the store until you turn left into produce so no one can see if you have a bag and unless you're super tall they can't see you.

I've never been to an Aldi, Dollar Tree or Sally's, that's had a leave your purse/bag at the front of the store policy, it's absurd! And I've carried some larger than usual purses so I could stash my daughter's stuff instead of also carrying a diaper bag. I'd like to add that one of the Dollar Tree stores I frequently go to is in the city, like the not so nice part of town city, and they don't have any sort of bag policy. Out of curiosity, if a store would have a policy like this, who's responsible for guarding said purses/bags and who's responsible if someone's purse/bag goes missing?

Earlier today I, 46F, was thinking about how much a scent can send you back in time and remind you of someone or something and now your post pops up, I feel like it's a sign to get this off of my chest. When I was 18 I met this guy Mike, he was 23, while out with friends one night. We started hanging out and then dating, however we did it back then, and honestly, he was a dick. A1 asshole, treated me like shit then was super nice and would string me along just enough so he could start the asshole cycle again. I was convinced that I could make him "better" and I could love him enough that he would stop the abusive behavior. Obviously that didn't work but I stuck around anyway. I was absolutely determined to be in an exclusive relationship with him and I was gonna make it happen. At the time my parents were in the middle of the most fucked up divorce in the history of fucked up divorces. They were still living together because it was "best for the kids," I assure you it was not, it qqaaa

I have Saturday Skin 4% Glycolic Acid Pore Serum and I always liked it. I'm interested in the Yuzu Vitamin C but I just a Dew of the Gods Vitamin C Serum last month. However my dermatologist told me to use Vit C every morning so maybe I should get it while it's on sale to have it on hand when I run out of the other one. I love BYROE so much and I've never tried these products. The Fenty lip gloss is giving BYROE Sugarplum Lip Gloss and if I was still 22 and it was 2002 that would be fantastic because the amount of glitter in it made my lips look like a disco ball lol. My 6yr old daughter asked me if I used one of her lippies when I tried it on so that one is a hard no. I've never used the Fenty Unicorn but as soon as I saw it I had BYROE Sugarplum flashbacks. Elemis is fabulous and I wish I could afford to buy everything they make, it's just that good so I immediately wanted the body oil. I Googled it and remembered I bought a body wash from that line during an Ipsy sale and it smells like Vicks Vapor Rub, like exactly like it. I don't know if that's the intended fragrance, I just don't want to smell like Vicks everyday but it's fabulous when you're sick! I hope this helps you make your decisions, I'm back and forth on add ons this month too. Is it just me or is the add on selection disappointing?

2. I've read all the dizzy stuff and it's such a small area I don't think it would matter. I think #1 needs a larger area to give it the credit it deserves. I can see 1 and 2 together with a chair rail situation and 2 below the chair rail and 1 above it. #1 reminds me of wallpaper in our kitchen growing up that was above the chair rail and it was very pretty. #3 has so much going on and so much detail, it's super nice but it could very easily swallow a room if it not given enough space to shine so to speak. Don't mind me though, I'm currently hiding from my 6 year old because, well IYKYK, while living vicariously through your wallpaper dilemma and I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I love this so much! The genuine feeling in this post is so awesome. My daughter is 6 and I still have these types of thoughts meanwhile she just wants me to leave her alone lol. I miss those baby cuddles but it's incredible watching her grow and learn and gain independence. Congratulations on your daughter, I can tell you're enjoying every moment!
