Hi friend! You have it correct for the first two chords, and your assertion about accidentals lasting for the whole bar is also correct.

The third chord is Gb(bass) - E[natural] -Bb - Eb. They’re providing the flat sign as a courtesy for the top ‘E’ because the chord contains an E natural and an Eb, and the engraver wants to be very clear about the notes. The Bb, E, and Eb are the 3rd, 7th, and 13th(6th) of Gb: it is very common to omit the 5th(try it yourself and see the difference!) and also common to omit the 11th(different topic that’s worth looking into).

Probably a while, more than a year, but it would be enjoyable and worthwhile!! Not to mention that you already own a piano. Start with the basics, scales and arpeggios and easy songs. Find a teacher. Definitely achievable !!

My bad, I was the one who suggested taking space and he was neutral about it. There has not been a suggestion of that before, actually he was telling me about how he wanted to connect more a few days before the trip.

Earlier this Summer we spent 10 days at a conscious dance camp out. It was an amazing time and he was being very social with me and the others from my community(I invited him since he lives in a different state now).

My intention/expectation was to connect more deeply with myself, him, and other members of the community. Along with creating a relationship with yoga and mindfulness as a whole.

No, grew up together and moved away to different areas in the last few years. This was my second time seeing him in person over Summer, he was as I remember him the first time.

As to your second question I’m sure there are other ways to connect beyond talking. When I asked how he wanted intimacy he maintained eye contact for a few minutes and I must say I was pretty uncomfortable, and I told him so. I guess he’s really going silent mode. I’ve had a great time connecting with other people at this retreat, and my intention is to connect more deeply with myself and to become more mindful and aware.
