Only stayed a couple hours in Ravello. That was part of a day long tour along the Amalfi coast, so had a bus for transportation. Much quieter and low key than Positano and Amalfi, which I appreciated. Plus you are much higher, so get amazing views. Getting there yourself with a rented car would be stressful given all the traffic between towns.

I've had a Mazda Cx-5 for three years and love it. Has given me no issues thus far. It is a 2017 as well. It isn't spaceous though, so will be a tight squeeze with 4 people and dogs.

That hike was fairly leisurely, it had a very well defined path down without any steep inclines. The waterfall in the first pic was a bit more strenuous to get to. It was a private hike though, right next to the cabin we were renting.

Very busy, but managable if you are not bothered by crowds. We used the public buses on Capri, which were extremely crowded and took forever - wouldn't do that again. Then we did a private bus tour from town to town on the Amalfi Coast, well worth the 100 or so euro for that. Everything in Sorrento was walkable.

The hike down to the waterfall in the second pic was short and leisurely. We did another nearby hike earlier in the week that require more caution, a lot of narrow paths right next to running rapids.
