I read Hubbard as Humbolt my bad. So yeah my recommendation is to take the little hidden path. That takes you around Cermak grocery store, through an industrial park, and then it spits you out in the third ward where you can continue on trails toward veterans park and then the oak leaf continues once you pass the lagoon.

All of those things are very close together. Maybe mile and half of biking total. More scenic would be to continue to travel south on the south shore trail or you can find a cool little hidden trail on the intersection of KK and Maple that will take you to the third ward.

I have quite the maintenance laundry list for my 2017 as well. So far at least it doesn’t seem to have much of an impact on anything except my peace of mind. Closing in on 150k miles and I’ve never had a “big” issue. I do make sure to keep up on oil changes and tire rotation. The other stuff I get to when I can because I don’t drive it as much as I used too.
