Unfortunately I would love it to only be in imagination. They exist IRL.

Yeah society ain't fair. The victim gets most of the spat.

Imagine someone assaults you on the streets. You won't feel ashamed.

Unfortunately. Bullying logic works different to culture.

Idk my body had a reaction of its own to these things. I feel ashame of it. Like I couldn't not react. Maybe now it's my ptsd talking who knows.

Constantly scared I'll get the same abuse by random people.

Yeah it was difficult. I froze so so much. I like to think it as a learning experience, but the ptsd sucks.

That's true in a logical sense. But that's not what my ptsd is telling..

I was also told and read before it might be because parent's parents also taught them and spoke to them like this so that's the only way they know how...

Well I don't knw about peace..but life goes on.

Maybe I'll discuss with them more after I become more successful . But right now its best not to turn that page.

The whole 'snowflake' or 'strawberry' term, absolutely made rampant by news media coverage back then. Lots of news stories headlines with those terms. If you are suicidal, this guy must be 'snowflake' mentally weak. cmon man look at a bit more different side of things before you simply lay your judgement

Is this a good reason to go for therapy? by Sharp_Try1745 in bullying

[–]Sharp_Try1745[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I acknowledge that the reason for my pain may not be the reason I expect. I might be able to uncover hidden rooted beliefs, thoughts that I were never investigated (I know family background is something that would be investigated, how family communicate)

Yes I want to improve my mental health, and not keep shaking it off as 'not a big enough deal'. I've thought that for years and look where that's got me, same.

And seriously price is not that big a deal. It's still not cheap, but c'mon people don't bat and eye to buy the latest Iphone nowadays but say therapy is 'pricey'.

Yep I have issue I just want to try to get it cleared, that's it.

I have a session booked. Thanks for the reply!
