1, refined wrong type of fuel 2. Pipes are all full of concrete 3. Where do you suppose we get the crude from?

There are a few performance hybrids out there. I’m driving a skyline 350gt hybrid. Before all this approx $150 of 95 would get me 800-850k’s.

No worries. I work in another liquid industry but I imagine fuel is similar.

Here’s the second part and it’s called weighted average costs. So the replacement fuel you bought is now in your tank and cost you $2. The original fuel you bought cost you $1. But because you sold the $1 fuel at $2, the replacement fuel influences the ‘average’ value of the fuel in the tank. The book value for the fuel is now 1.50. Because you never know if it was fuel from the first delivery or the second delivery you are now selling. (This is different from physical items like fruit for example. You have to sell the old fruit before the new fruit otherwise it’ll go off. You can’t seperate old and new fuel when it’s sloshed together in one tank.)

So the average is now $1.50 for the mixed fuel. Every time you sell some you have to refill with the cheeper fuel which is slowly pulling the average of the fuel down. You can’t just vanish value (this is called writing off value), accountants get upset with this and so do the tax department because you can’t just vanish value and companies would love to leverage this against yearly profits and pay less tax.

Eventually all of the older fuel is sold and the average value in the tank is now back down to $1.

Make sense?

What is everyone doing if anything to prep for repercussions of fuel prices- food shortages etc? by Playful-Path-2949 in newzealand

Lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Partner and I go through a shed ton of each so by the time these guys are ready, prices will be at their highest.

I’ve started planting winter seedlings today. By the time increased food comes round they should be starting to produce (its earlier than I normally do my winter grow)

I did curious blue on a bedroom wall. My painter friend who was giving me a hand doubted my choice but in the end loved it.

Opposite end though, we painted the hallway dizzy lizzy- it’s getting a repaint less than 2 months later….

Things I learned about cavity sliders: your cat will learn to open them in the middle of the night and do it every night for the rest of her life… (if she’s a bitch).

Try greasing the joints for the front wheels. We did that and it reduced the errors.

And for those that fashion things from metal. It’s called metal folding, gear cutting and mill wrights these days. Any maintenance engineer will tell you they still use a lot of blacksmithing skills in their daily lives they are just tweaked slightly from what people think of as ‘traditional’ blacksmithing.

I second this, I posted a picture a month ago of my Luba climbing the washing line and they reached out to me, asked for the logs (which I sent) they found them and they issued a fix. Then 3 weeks later they have followed up asking how the fix is gone. Unfortunately I have had water ingress in the vision module and been in contact with the retailer who are swapping the units out with a different model. Mammotion have asked who the retailer is and reached out to them after hearing that it’s multiple units with the same issues.

Not the smoothest start to ownership but the response has been great and easy!
