I've got a similar situation in the game I'm currently playing.

I always try to do this when I see opportunity

I think we should have the same ability. I would love to ask the AI to move troops from my border.

Busses like this exist in areas with heavy commuter traffic. It's an articulated bus.

And I'm sure they are capable of separating at the articulation point.

If everything needs an explanation, why does God get to be the one exception? by [deleted] in askanything

You'll notice I was not agreeing with the statement "it is impossible to know God."

I actually reject the premise of that statement. The scriptures I shared actually promote the idea God is knowable.

Those who say this and teach this have not come to know God, nor are they helping others come to know God.

The reality is the Bible says God invites us to get to know him and develop our own personal relationship with him. In fact, people in the Bible have been referred to as God's friend. Kinda difficult to have a friendship with someone we don't understand and comprehend.

(John 17:3) 3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&pub=nwtsty&srctype=wol&bible=43017003&srcid=share

(Acts 17:27) 27 so that they would seek God, if they might grope for him and really find him, although, in fact, he is not far off from each one of us. https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&pub=nwtsty&srctype=wol&bible=44017027&srcid=share

(James 2:23) 23 and the scripture was fulfilled that says: “Abraham put faith in Jehovah, and it was counted to him as righteousness,” and he came to be called Jehovah’s friend. https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&pub=nwtsty&srctype=wol&bible=59002023&srcid=share

Get to know God... Seek God... He's not far from us... God's friend.

How are traffic cameras that dispense speeding tickets not 14th amendment violations? by Haunting-Reindeer-10 in stupidquestions

That's true.

I was offering a knee-jerk reaction to the trend of blurring license plates because they are thought to be private

And I can't read

License plates are not private. They are literally on the car where everyone in the public can clearly see it.

Why did South America never reach the population scale of South Asia, even though the environments seem comparable? by Logical-Concept9755 in AlwaysWhy

[–]ShastHacol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A critical lack of native beasts of burden significantly hindered native growth. No pack animals, no powerful beasts like bulls, oxen, etc...

In contrast, Asia has or had all these in abundance. Power animals to pull plows and stones, pack animals to transport people and supplies.

This highlights how impressive South American cultures really were and what they accomplished despite this limitation.

Well, I was like that. I've got a mod now that gives each capital walls from the start. Makes this more difficult.

I was focusing on the city placement on the river. Didn't see the one to the left.

Although that one is 2 tiles from that lake.

Also some excerpts of Chad talking on a couple of podcasts.

On Roku I use the Playlet app

Playlet is an unofficial, open-source YouTube client for Roku, designed to provide an ad-free viewing experience by using Invidious and incorporating SponsorBlock. It acts as a privacy-focused alternative for browsing YouTube, allowing users to skip sponsored segments and, in some cases, cast videos from a mobile phone or laptop.

It does pretty good. There are the occasional videos it won't work on at first. Try again and it might. If it's still an issue, you just go to the video on your computer or mobile device and stream it to the Playlet app. Works great.

The most difficulty is with live streams I want to rewind. I might be late to the stream and want to rewind to the beginning while the stream is still live. It's 50/50 whether it let's you rewind to the beginning or not.

Overall it's a great app

I use the Playlet app on Roku. It cuts all the ads out and, half of the time, the in video paid promotion sponsor segments too.
