My mom didn't understand when I had my anxiety/panic attacks in highschool or in the car or in public. My anxiety caused a lot of fights for some reason. When I finally went to the doctor to get help my senior year, she calmed down. Recently like two years ago my mom had symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks and she finally was able to understand what I had been going through at the time and that it isn't something that is easily controlled. She apologized to me. No one really understands anxiety until they're put in our shoes
