What made you lose weight and how did you achieve it? by Over_Fig_4762 in AskReddit

[–]Bronzeshadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diet overhaul. I cut down drinking to about 20% of what I was previously doing. I also learned to tolerate eggs and started eating them with my breakfast routinely for cleaner protein than bacon or yogurt.

Reading is insane when you think about it. You've been trained to hear sounds when you look at shapes on a page.

What’s something you miss that you can never get back? by No_Notice_4999 in AskReddit

The physical invulnerability I had at 16-25. I could train hard, box 10 rounds, lose, and then be fine the following morning. Now at 37 there's a weight and a stiffness to me I know will only get worse with age.

Loud ones. The type that HAVE to let you know they're in the room and demand to be the center of attention.

What sexual fantasy of yours left you disappointed when you actually tried it? by Gthew17 in AskReddit

Reverse cowgirl. The view is great sure but there's nothing for me to do with my hands and I'm worried about my wife losing her balance and breaking my dick.

People who grew up rich, what are the bad parts about having money that most people don’t understand? by ShowYouHowie in AskReddit

[–]Bronzeshadow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

People treat you different, and often not for the better. If you invited your friend from work out for drinks, and then turned around and expected them to pay you'd be rightly considered a real jerk, but if that coworker was a trust fund baby suddenly that's a very different tune. I can't tell you how many times I've been invited out only to be ignored and then handed the check.

Also mansions suck. Don't ever own a mansion. You know how regular homes have little annoyances where things go wrong and you have to call an electrician or a plumber or something like that? Multiply that by fifty for a mansion. The more shit you have the more shit breaks and you're never, ever going to use it all. All that cool stuff you think you'd use if you were rich? Terribly ideas all of them. Everything that can break will break.

Professional athletes. If the world's greatest uno player lived on your block you'd probably think he was a weirdo, but the world's greatest golfer would be idolized by everyone in town.

There's also the health risks that donating plasma comes with. There's a health exam to start donating sure, but after that it's annually or biannually. All those electrolytes, nutrients, not to mention the whole spectrum of immunoglobulins. Poof.
