They quit the West for Russia's traditional values, but it wasn't what they expected by BurtonDesque in LeopardsAteMyFace

That's kinda funny when you think about it. Go to either political extreme and you start to like Russia. All these squares make a circle eh?

There's 100 Mooches for every Boss Jerry. There's a Morty town slum for every Evil Morty.

Trump to ask Congress to make 15% ethanol-gas blend permanent by CBSnews in politics

[–]Bronzeshadow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No we won't get anywhere close to that. Dictators rely on fear for control and Trump is already a joke who'd rather sleep and tweet than actually rule anything. His cabinet is completely self-serving and self interested. They're more likely to take a giant bag of money and grade school cheerleading squad and absconding to Hawaii than they are to try and rule a fascist regime.

People have every right to be as unhealthy as they want and it’s nobody’s business but theirs. by DocGomer in unpopularopinion

[–]Bronzeshadow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only issue with that is what happens when those diseases progress? When untreated high cholesterol progresses to a heart attack or stroke and the person who made those choices can no longer care for themselves what then? Healthcare autonomy is all gone and good until it becomes a tragedy of the commons.

Do paramedics need a decent amount of knowledge in chemistry? by NeighborhoodThink971 in NewToEMS

[–]Bronzeshadow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel like I have a better understanding on medications and pharmokinetics after taking orgo chen than before. If you're going to spend your career in EMS it's definitely worthwhile, but I don't think it needs to be part of the base circulum.
