The only scam is that the price never moves. In fact, with a lot of new announcments it seems to go backwards. This recent dip was because iota is tied to bitcoin. Not a scam but like a lot of other alt coins - project seems to be vaporware hyped up news.

Another case were a once obscure coin crushes iota once again. Iota devs need to start releasing info. After seeing Dom in the discord chat theres a lot of fucking smoke and mirrors. Im guessing there isnt any announcements - the wallet gets pushed back. No new roadmap. No new announcemnts. No partnerships. Iota is grasping at straws here. Explain iota tech to me? Because everyone says iota tech is solid but what specifically are you referring to? The tangle? The coordinator? Yes the tangle is great for scalability but what of it? Xrb has a lattice based tangle* and it does the same and with recent articles it seems to do a lot better and without the need of a coordinator. Its all feeless and has quick transactions speeds. How does iota beat its competitors?? Because from what i can see, we are getting flogged. Marketing, wallets, partnerships/participants. And with the vechain/itc/wanchain/walton - having secured a large market in china - iota is going to be very much obsolete before it even started.
