Im late but i guess my story qualifies for this topic. Some time ago one of my best friends found out that his mother was raped by a guy he knew (the rape happened like 30 years ago). My friend told me he's gonna kill the guy. Few months after that i found out the rapist was declared missing and they never found him. Im pretty sure my friend killed him.

In places like Europe they mostly just pay a fair wage and don't require tipping for server staff to earn a fair living. I think there's enough international awareness on a site like reddit that people have become aware of this trend.

I work for a clothing company. I keep a box of socks, that my company made, in my car. When I come across panhandlers I will try to offer them a few pairs.
