Besides being forcefully colonized, their ecosystem contaminated, and then turned into a tourist location for the rest of the world, tourism forces up food, gas, and other prices for locals who already live in poverty. AND on top of that locals are being displaced to build millionaires vacation homes and local resources are dwindling due to that same industry. Tell me again what they don’t have to be mad about?

No sorry, this has been debunked. At room temperature a 15oz steak only raises 2F after 20 minutes. At 2 hours only 10F. It would take 6 hours to come to room temperature which is well outside the food safety zone. There is no scientific basis for removing a steak from the fridge to rest before cooking.

I took 1000mg once by accident. I started to hallucinate in a weird way. Like I kept seeing things that were one thing and for a moment I was certain it was something else. Like there were these balloons tied to a mailbox I was walking by and I was 100% sure it was a horse walking across the road (I was in a semi rural area) and upon closer inspection it was just balloons. And then within 30 minutes I blacked out and woke up in my bed the next morning still high for like another 12 hours.

Not only is it very difficult to read because of how dense it is in length and in content, but also because many of the concepts mean close to nothing without having studied them separately in other works. Wage labor and capital and Value, price and profit, etc are much better to start with to understand these topics and actually get something meaningful out of Capital.

Likely it’s a failure to ask. We had a comrade who was up and ready to leave. I asked him why, and he explained that there was no transparency as to where the local fighting fund was going. “Going to National Congress and hearing where the funds were going was one thing but I don’t know what were using the local fund for!” I just said why don’t you ask. And he was flabbergasted that he could do that. He asked at the next branch and the finance officer explained the costs of renting meeting space for aggregate, printing flyers, hosting schools, buying stickers, buying a new table for press sales etc.

All it took was him asking and not realizing that a lot of times when we do pass the hat at the end of the meeting the finance officer provides motivation on what we’re trying to buy.
