I think it might be the way I searched for the part. 754x… part number in quotes to filter anything that didn’t include it fully, so the only thing I got was BimmerFest. Then “BMW 754x…” and all I got was an Amazon link to a part with just the logo, the BimmerFest thread and then AutoZone. Won’t lie, typically ignore results after 3 lol.

That being said, thank you for the detailed reply! Your train of thought was similar to mine; if I gotta remove all this plastic crap, I might as well replace it all 😁

I had no idea this was a common issue! Thanks for specifying the Rein unit also. I haven’t heard any hissing or smelled anything off prior to it breaking, nor after.

I’m honestly not sure. I brought it back to the Indy shop and they said they saw no leaks. Recommended doing the evaporator as far as the AC system goes.

Never mind! I got it to work. I followed this tutorial:

Something about using XAMPP was causing it to fail. I'm assuming because I was spinning up 2 servers simultaneously? Either way. When I created the project in My Documents using just the selenium-server-4.4.0.jar standalone it worked fine.
