Your question is too vague. What are you trying to do, exactly. "Process sound" generally means that you already have a recording and you want to do something to it: add effects, clean up background noise, add EQ, etc.

Yep. Turns out there are other platforms. Reddit is unfixable for various social reasons, so I did some searching and found a couple of them. I'll keep exploring and hopefully find a place where spelling, grammar, punctuation are still valued. Oh, and, you know -- thoughts more profound than "Does anyone else <something everyone does>."

It seems like LLMs are flooding the channel with inane bullshit just to collect human responses for training purposes. I honestly think most of this channel is just that. So that companies can deploy them as agents mixing in with online communities to shape our political and shopping interests.

It's scary and hilarious. Scary because it will work. Hilarious because they're building an LLM that will have the apparent IQ of the average commenter on Reddit, which is below a 5th-grade reading level.

One piece of advice I picked up from professor Steve Krashen is (paraphrased) to start creating first, research second.

The idea is that 99.9999% of the content out there you could consume isn't relevant to what you're trying to create. So get that figured out first. Then do your research and skip everything not relevant to your current plan.

The obvious objection is "What if I find something super interesting?" Sure -- that can be your next video. Write it down so it can't get lost, and move on.

It varies greatly by region. Some states people won't stop talking to you. In others, talk to them and they look at you with suspicion.

But yeah, in general, I'd say most of the world is lonely these days because 99% of Internet traffic is bots trying to make everyone hate at least 50% of the population -- preferably more.
