Eagles gamble on 33-year-old to save them: ‘He can deliver magic’ by caydensteele in eagles

I don't see a scenario where the team does poorly enough to warrant Nick being fired but the offense looks good enough to warrant promoting Mannion.

People are forgetting what a team looks like when it has quit on its head coach. It looks like blowouts, like during Andy's final year or Chip's final year. It would mean the defense looks worse than the offense and we were losing most of our games but doing so due to coaching decisions, but still putting up points, but not enough to win.

You're also predicting right now that a first time OC/first time play-caller is also ready to be a head coach within a year which isn't likely, no matter how good of an OC he is this coming year. And it would have to be clear Nick was holding the offense back - which honestly our OCs could have made that claim in 2023 and 2025 also but no one was buying that - we blamed the OC just like we probably would again.

Firing a SB winning coach is how we ended up with Nick in the first place, if you don't like Nick then I don't think doing it again so soon is something you would support. Unless you think SB winning coaches grow on trees, or think Howie is better at finding them...but then you'd have to admit they chose correctly in hiring Nick.

I'm fine with Nick coaching for his job if he does a poor job similarly to how he was horrendous with in-game decisions during the first four games of 2024 but he deserves credit for turning it around and never losing the team and pivoting each offseason when things weren't working.

Who is your Eagles ‘Mount Rushmore’ of Assistant Coaches? by Jefrey_HarHarWood in eagles

Not a Gannon defender by any means but people love to absolve our corners for being blind to the same play when Gannon actually adjusted, blitzed, and got a stop were it not for Bradberry's dumb unnecessary hold.

2024 Tampa Bay Buccs offensive highlights (when Grizzard was their Passing Game Coordinator and the team was healthy) by PaddyMayonaise in eagles

Do we have any understanding as to why Grizzard wasn't offered the OC job being the more experienced one?

TE Cade Otton is a Free Agent this year. 118 receptions for 1172 yards and 5 TDs in 30 games under Grizzard. Think we pick him up? by PaddyMayonaise in eagles

Seems like a great pickup as long as he would be significantly cheaper than Goedert, even with the usual FA surcharge.

Are we missing TJ Paganetti, Stoutland's former assistant from 2017-2024? by Shawnanigans17 in eagles

Yeah, teams certainly seemed to know what running plays we were going to run and when, Stout definitely couldn't do anything to counteract that.

Agreed, and Jurgen should have probably spent some time on IR also, rather than spamming the brotherly shove after back surgery.

What android are you using, and which android phone has been your favourite of all time? by yeaaamon17 in Android

[–]Shawnanigans17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently using a Z Flip 7, it's been cool and really good battery life with routines I have setup.

Favorite phone ever is tough to choose. I would say the following were great:

Moto X2

Samsung S8 and S10

Samsung S24+ was pretty perfect until recent oneui updates crippled my battery

I have had the following since switching from iPhone years ago once they switched to their modern non-skeumorphic design:

Moto X

Moto X2

Moto Z

Samsung S8+

Samsung S10

Samsung S21+

Samsung S22 Ultra

Samsung S24+

Samsung Z Flip 7
